What the name stands for
Verification
Every passport is cryptographically signed and independently verifiable. A scan proves what the manufacturer actually published, not what a page happens to say today.
Identity
Opaque, non-sequential serials on GS1 Digital Link carriers. A code reveals nothing about batch size, production volume, or the order it was made in.
Quick Response
A QR code on the product resolves in milliseconds, on any phone, with no app to install. The public read path stays up even when everything else is being deployed.
Oversight
Retention policies, hash-chained audit trails, and clone detection. Built for the regulator's question as much as the customer's.
Where it actually is
No passports have been minted. Nothing here is registered in the EU DPP Registry, and this build makes no qualified-signature claim. The live conformance report says exactly which checks pass, which are deferred, and what is true in the meantime.
